Patterned roots card

There's something wonderful about mushrooms. The part we recognise is only the fruit; beneath our feet lies an extraordinary hidden network, quietly connecting and nourishing the natural world. We're rather fond of things like that.

Perfect for fellow mushroom enthusiasts, woodland wanderers and anyone who appreciates the wonderfully wonky side of nature. The tops of these colourful mushrooms are collaged using the backs of old playing cards, cut with pinking shears to add an element of contrast.

For the base, Jo drew the mycelial network in pencil on antique paper.
